The time it takes for us to receive your transfer request depends on how your new provider sends it. Providers usually have up to 30 calendar days to complete a transfer, though Cash ISA transfers are typically completed within 15 working days.
Requests can be submitted electronically through shared processing platforms, manually by email, or by post.
Electronic requests are usually the quickest, while email and postal requests can take longer to reach us and may extend the overall transfer timescale.
If your new provider has told you they’ve sent your transfer request but we haven’t received it yet:
Check when the request was sent, as it can take some time for us to receive it
Ask your new provider how they sent the request (electronically, by email, or by post), as some methods can take longer than others
Make sure they have your correct details, have selected the correct Moneybox account type, and are using the correct provider details. If they’re asked for an account number, they should use your National Insurance number as the account reference or roll number
If it’s been a few working days and we still haven’t received your request, you may wish to ask your new provider to check its status and resend it if needed.
If you need a hand, just get in touch. We’ll need the name of your new provider, the date you requested the transfer, and your transfer reference (if you have one).
