When you make a deposit, your ‘today’s interest’ figure is updated the day that your funds arrive with the partner bank(s) powering your account and your deposit begins accruing interest. This typically happens in the evening, by 6 pm.
For funds debited in our weekly collection, this is the Thursday after the funds leave your bank account (one week + one day after the initial Wednesday weekly collection).
If you make an easy bank transfer or manual bank transfer, transfer an ISA or LISA in from another provider, or move money from another Moneybox account, your ‘today's interest’ will be updated on the next working day after the funds arrive in your balance.
