What is a Stocks & Shares ISA?

A Stocks & Shares ISA is an individual savings account that lets you invest your money in a tax-efficient way – because you don’t pay any tax on your investment gains. You can invest up to £20,000 each tax year into a Stocks & Shares ISA, and this is shared with any other ISAs you might have – like a Cash ISA or Lifetime ISA.
