Deposits And Withdrawals

How long does it take for my money to be added to my Cash LISA?

There are two ways to pay into your Cash Lifetime ISA with Moneybox – either through our weekly payment cycle, or via instant bank transfers.

Here’s a little more information on our weekly payment cycle and what happens between your weekly savings being collected and your money being deposited into your Cash LISA.

Step 1

Your savings are collected from your ‘Saved this week’ total in the home screen of the app every Wednesday at around midday. At this stage, you’ll be able to see this collection appear in the ‘Recent activity’ section of the Accounts tab.

Step 2

This money leaves your linked bank account via Direct Debit early the following week (usually on the Monday).

On Tuesday, you’ll see your deposit added to your main account value by the end of the day.

Step 3

Your money is deposited with the bank(s) who hold your funds on Thursday, and from this point you’ll be earning interest.

All investing should be regarded as longer term. The value of your investments can go up and down, and you may get back less than you invest.
