If you’d like to transfer a Moneybox ISA, LISA, or Junior ISA to another provider, you’ll just need to contact your new ISA provider to get started and submit a transfer request with them.
To help things run smoothly, it can be useful to have the following details ready:
Provider: Digital Moneybox Ltd or Moneybox
Account/Reference number:
For ISAs & LISAs, this is your National Insurance number.
For our Junior ISAs, we use the National Insurance number of the registered contact, which is usually the parent.
Sort code: Your Moneybox account does not have a sort code, but your provider can still process the transfer without this
Address (for reference only): Moneybox, Suite 1.07, 1-2 Hatfields, London, SE1 9PG.
Where to send paperwork: Your provider will send the transfer instructions directly to us on your behalf to transfersout@moneyboxapp.com (all transfers are handled digitally)
To help avoid delays, make sure your personal details (such as your name, address, date of birth and National Insurance number) are up to date with us and your new provider, and that you've selected the correct Moneybox account when requesting your transfer (for example, a Stocks & Shares LISA or Cash ISA).
Once your provider sends us the request, we’ll review the details and complete a verification check. After that, the transfer itself can take around 1–3 weeks to complete. Providers usually have up to 30 calendar days to complete a transfer, though Cash ISA transfers are typically completed within 15 working days.
Please note, we do not currently offer the ability to reopen or open another ISA of the same kind when an ISA has been transferred out in full.
