Job Brief
The function of the role is to enhance and protect Moneybox’s corporate reputation and deliver a range of PR & Comms initiatives that help increase awareness and consideration of Moneybox products and services. This role will play a crucial part in helping the Moneybox PR function have an even greater impact reaching and positively engaging journalists, consumers and wider market and industry influencers, to help deliver marketing and business objectives. The role is also accountable for building trusted, collaborative relationships with colleagues and senior leaders across the business, to facilitate a highly effective PR function.
What you’ll do
Reporting into the Head of PR & Comms, Senior PR Manager / PR Lead responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Day-to-day management of Moneybox Press Office including inbound media queries, preparing award entries, securing and coordinating spokesperson media briefings and speaking opportunities, PR performance analytics and reporting etc
- Help devise and manage the delivery of regular news generation stories and D2C PR and thought-leadership campaigns aligned to PR strategy and business objectives
- Ideate, research, and write compelling, impactful opinion leadership content incl press releases and opinion pieces to support our Corporate Comms agenda
- Manage a customer case study program and lead media outreach to generate coverage in a wide range of media titles
- Work with the Insight team to identify product-level insights which can be used to inform expert market commentary and regularly pitched to key media
- Work closely with the wider Marketing team, particularly Content and Social, to activate PR campaigns across all relevant channels
- Build and nurture trusted and collaborative relationships with agency partners and peers across the business

Experience and Skills
- Min 8 years of relevant Consumer PR & Corp Comms experience, knowledge of financial services/fintech industry a must, agency experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills, confident crafting compelling content including pitches, thought leadership and press releases for a variety of media and stakeholder audiences
- Significant media relations experience with a track record of successful media outreach, securing coverage, and nurturing relationships with journalists over time
- Experience developing surveys and data-driven PR campaigns.
- Experience in and passion for digital PR and multi-channel campaign activation
- Strong collaboration and networking skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills

Working Policy:
We have a hybrid policy that includes 2 days from our London office and 3 from home. If the role states it is either hybrid or remote candidates must be based within the UK.
