Job Brief
We are continuing the development of our in-house investment platform and administration service into one that is best-in-class and delivers the best experience possible for our customers. We work closely with a team of platform developers and together we manage the daily processing, controls, and systems needed to manage our customers’ investments and savings. In other words, whenever a customer decides to move their money in the app, we are the team that makes it a reality.
We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong management experience, solid analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities, who is excited about this great opportunity to be part of the future of Moneybox. As one of the managers in the team, you would also be comfortable handling manual processes, edge cases and comfortable recognising opportunities to implement automation and additional controls. Supervision of daily activities and line managing junior members of the team would be something that excites you, whilst you get the opportunity to further build and enhance truly customer-centric processes managed on our proprietary investment platform.
What you’ll do
Working as part of the Investment Operations team interacting frequently with other operations, finance and technology team members, this role will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Leading and supervising operational processes across our current and future, cash and investing product base (including trade and deposit instructions, withdrawals, aggregation/disaggregation/settlement and transfer processing)
- Constantly reviewing all operational processes within the platform to look for areas of improvement and working with the development team to ensure that our system is the best it can be
- Handling of escalations from the team, internal stakeholders, and external parties referring to senior management when required
- Reviewing daily reconciliations of customer money and assets in line with CASS rules
- Working with the Finance Team to process payments, settlements, and funding to and from partners
- Working with the Customer Operations and Support teams to progress ISA, LISA and SIPP transfers and other withdrawal types
- Coaching and managing junior members of the team, reviewing their work and providing timely feedback
- Creation and maintenance of up-to-date documentation

Experience and skills
- Studying towards, or has completed, a relevant professional qualification
- Knowledge of investment operations and financial markets
- Up to 2 years experience experience managing or supervising in an operations role with a similar product base to Moneybox
- Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
- Highly numerate with good Excel skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

This is a hybrid role. Our office is in London, by the Oxo Tower

Working Policy:
We have a hybrid policy that includes 2 days from our London office and 3 from home. If the role states it is either hybrid or remote candidates must be based within the UK.
