Terms and Conditions

The Provider Search Service and accompanying Provider Search Prize Draw are operated and promoted by Digital Moneybox Limited, which is a limited company registered in England & Wales with the company number 09597755 whose registered office is Suite 1.07 1-2 Hatfields, London, England, SE1 9PG (the “Promoter”/ “we” / “us” / “our”).

  1. The Service
      1. If you request to use our Provider Search Service, we will use the information you provide us to search for your existing pension providers for you. To carry out the search, we ask you to provide your name and employment history and to provide us with your contact details so we can notify you on the outcome of the search. 
      2. By submitting a search request, you agree to allow us to use this information to contact organisations on your behalf to find your pension providers, including government departments, pension providers, your current and past employers and any other organisation or individual we believe may help us locate your provider. 
      3. The service offered on the Moneybox website permits you to submit up to three employer records per search. It is your responsibility to ensure you have not attempted to exceed this limit. In cases where we have received requests to search for providers across more than three employers for a given email address, you understand that we may not carry out the additional searches or share these results. If we are unable to complete your search or suspect you have not complied with our search terms, we reserve the right to terminate your search and will remove your submitted information.
      4. The service is offered between 15 September 2020 and 9 October 2020.
      5. You understand that offering this service is not a promise that we will be able to locate your provider information. 
      6. Where we can locate provider information for you, we will contact you with your search results using the email address supplied. While we will take reasonable measures to make sure the information we share with you is accurate, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of information shared by third parties about your pensions. We do not accept liability for any errors by any third party who has shared information with us about your pensions or resulting inaccuracies.
      7. By agreeing to subscribe to marketing emails, you agree that we may provide you with marketing materials and other information regarding any of our other products and services from time to time, that we think may be of interest to you.  If you do not wish to receive such materials, please contact us at  We will not at any time (without your consent) share or provide your personal information to any third party for that party to market its services and products (or the services and products of any person unconnected with us).

    2. By using the Provider Search Service, we understand that we may collect the information you supply us, including:
      1. Identity data: your name and employment information
      2. Contact information: your email address
    3. What we do with your information:
      1. We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data:
        1. To provide you with the Provider Search services you have selected;
        2. Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests; and
        3. Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation. 
      1. We will use identity data as supplied to us to contact such organisations and persons on your behalf as required to undertake the service.
      2. We will use identity data and contact information to share the outcome of your results with you and to contact you about the output of the prize draw if you have elected to participate.
      3. If you agree to subscribe to marketing emails, we will use your contact information to and share any relevant offers and communications as we reasonably believe may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive such materials, please contact us at
      4. We use a third-party provider, Zapier, to process the Provider Search form. 
  1. The Provider Search Prize Draw
    1. The Provider Search Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”) is open only to participants who submit a qualifying search via the Pension Provider Search service offered on the Moneybox website or on the Moneybox app between 09:00 on 15 September 2020 and 23:59 on 9 October 2020. 
    2. Submitting a qualifying search means you will have provided us with your name, contact information, employer history and agreed to the terms and conditions of the service. You will receive a confirmation email confirming when your search has been submitted.  
    3. Entry to the Prize Draw is automatic for searches submitted through the Moneybox app. If accessing the service via the Moneybox website, you must elect to opt-in to the Prize Draw when you submit your search. 
    4. Please contact our team on or via the in-app chat by 9 October 2020 if you would prefer not to (or no longer wish to) participate in the Prize Draw.
    5. Each participant is entitled to one entry only into the Prize Draw. Submitting multiple searches will not permit you more than one entry into the Prize Draw.
    6. You are not required to pay money or to transfer a pension to Moneybox to enter this Prize Draw.
    7. To be eligible to enter the draw you must:
      1. be 18 years or older at the time the search request is submitted; 
      2. be a tax resident in the United Kingdom at the time the search request is submitted; and
      3. not be an employee, officer or director of Digital Moneybox Limited or any member of such person’s immediate family or household at any time during the period of this prize draw.
    8. The winner will be randomly selected in accordance with the laws of chance by an independent third party on 14 October 2020 and notified by email by 23:59 on 15 October 2020 using contact details registered:
      1. on the qualifying search for users accessing the service via the Moneybox website; or
      2. on the winner’s Moneybox account for users accessing the service via the Moneybox app.
    9. If the winner selected on 14 October 2020 does not respond to our email within 14 days or declines the prize, we will choose another winner on 29 October 2020, and notify the new winner within five business days.
    10. The winner will receive a prize of £1,000. The prize is not transferable. We will complete the electronic transfer to the winner’s bank account by 23:59 on 30 October 2020, provided we have had confirmation from the winner of their bank account details no later than 23 October 2020. 
      1. Where the winner is a registered Moneybox user, we will complete the electronic transfer to the bank account registered on the winner’s Moneybox account.
      2. Where the winner is not a registered Moneybox user, we will complete the electronic transfer to the winner’s elected bank account.
    11. Please note we are required to make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, we will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone requesting this information. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please notify us by contacting us on Please note, we must still provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
    12. Our decision regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding.
    13. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse to award any prize, or in the event of a participant’s fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under these terms and conditions.
    14. We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
    15. We will process your name, email address and other details necessary, for the purposes of administering the prize draw. Personal data supplied through the Prize Draw will be treated as set out in our Privacy Notice.
    16. The draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
