Lead Product Manager

Moneybox is organized in four key “Missions”: 1) Homebuying, 2) Saving, Investing and Retirement, 3) Experience, and 4) Operations. We are searching for a new Product Lead in the Homebuying Mission. In this position, you will lead the product vision and strategy for the Mission, enabling ambitious commercial and customer outcomes that allow millions of customers to achieve their financial goals and objectives.This is an exciting role with clear ownership of the product strategy and roadmap for the Mission. You will work in the product team reporting to the Director of Product with responsibility for delivering new features to market, managing existing product performance and prioritising and planning product improvements. You will also have a dotted-line reporting relationship into the Managing Director of the Homebuying Mission.

What you’ll do

• • Help a generation get on the property ladder by creating a best-in-class experience.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Design teams, Mission MD, and Commercial teams in the development of the product strategy for the Mission.
  • Collaborate with user experience, mobile and backend teams to define our product features to drive adoption and develop strategies to maximize product engagement and customer outcomes.
  • Manage and prioritise the mission’s product backlog, clearly articulating and agreeing on the user stories and acceptance criteria to ultimately help deliver the overall product vision.
  • Lead multiple streams of projects as well as proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to deliver agreed goals.
  • Manage a team of Product managers within the home-buying mission as well as support with development of more junior members of the team.

  • Strong people-orientation, able to establish relationships based on trust.

 

Experience and Skills

• • University educated with at least one degree, preferably in a technical subject.
  • 7+ years experience in Product Management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of the general fundamentals of product management and core structural processes i.e. problem recognition, analysis, development, testing, development, retesting, launching etc.
  • Ability to encourage, motivate and develop a diverse group of people towards a challenging goal.
  • Great communication and listening skills.
