What’s my Moneybox account number?

As we take all of our payments through the Moneybox app, your account doesn’t have a sort code/account number to pay into directly. We use your National Insurance number to identify your account.

If you hold an ISA, Junior ISA, General Investment Account, Personal Pension, Simple Saver or Lifetime ISA, you can still deposit straight away using an instant bank transfer, despite not having an account number! These are accessible through the Moneybox app, under Accounts > Tap your account > Add Money > Instant bank transfer.

If you’re looking to transfer an ISA or Lifetime ISA out to another provider, the best reference to use would be your National Insurance number. Your new provider will contact us directly to arrange the transfer, and this is how we will identify your account with us.
