How long does it take to sell US stocks?

If you choose to sell a stock, a sell requested via the app before 12pm will be submitted on the same working day when the US markets open. If you make a sell request after 12pm, your sell will be processed on the next working day as soon as the US market opens (usually 2:30pm UK time).

Once your sell is submitted, it will typically take 2-3 working days to complete, and you’ll receive an email to confirm once this is the case.

The proceeds of your sale will be added to your Available Cash – if you’d like to withdraw the funds back to your bank account, you’ll just need to request this in Settings > Withdraw.

Please note that these timings don’t account for delays caused by US/UK holidays.
