How do I transfer my old pensions to a Moneybox Pension?
In light of current events, we’re currently unable to accept pension transfers where your existing provider uses a manual paper process as the team is working remotely. This is a small subset of pension providers and we’re working to resume transfers with these providers as soon as possible. Please get in touch with our team for more information.
To transfer your old pension you’ll need to let us know your current provider. You’ll then be asked to select the type of fund you’d like to invest the money from your pension into. Finally, we will need your pension policy number. You should be able to find this on past letters or emails about your existing policy.
Once this is submitted we’ll get the transfer kicked off. For most providers this can be done completely electronically. In light of current events, we’re unable to accept manual pension transfers by post as the team is working remotely. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience caused here, and will do all we can to resume manual transfers as soon as possible.
The pensions team will then track the progress of your transfer, and get in touch should there be any delays or issues. You can also see the progress in the Accounts tab of the app.
