Adding money to your Cash ISA

How do I start an ISA transfer when registering on the website?

To start transferring an existing ISA to Moneybox, just click ‘Transfer existing ISA’ when asked how you’d like to fund your Cash ISA in registration.

We’ll ask you to confirm some details about your existing ISA, as well as the amount you’d like to transfer and whether you’re transferring any contributions made in the current tax year.

Once you’ve submitted your details, we’ll contact your provider directly and most transfers will typically complete within 3 weeks, with Cash ISA transfers usually completing within 15 days.

You’ll be able to track the status of your transfer through the process by clicking ‘View account’ in the Home screen of your account on the website, then selecting ‘Activity’.

Your provider will send your funds electronically along with a ‘transfer history form’ and all the information about the account you’re transferring from so we can complete the transfer. Then, once the payment is received, our finance team will apply the funds to your Moneybox account and the transfer is complete!
