Adding money to your Cash ISA

How do I send money to my Cash ISA from my bank account during registration?

You can open your Cash ISA by sending a payment of £500 or more directly from your bank account – just choose ‘Manual bank transfer’ when asked how you’d like to fund your Cash ISA to view the payment details for your account.

Payments must come from the bank account you linked to Moneybox earlier in the registration process.

Once you’ve sent a payment, the funds typically arrive and are added to your balance within a few minutes, but can take up to 24 hours.

If you are having trouble completing a manual bank transfer, if no funds have left your bank account, you should be fine to simply try the transaction again. For recurring issues, we’d recommend contacting your bank – as manual bank transfers are initiated directly from your bank account rather than through Moneybox, they should be best placed to help with any issues sending money.
