Can I cancel my Cash ISA at any time?

Our Cash ISA and Open Access Cash ISA can be cancelled within 30 days of your first contribution. Cancelling a Cash ISA means any contributions you made are reversed and don’t count towards your £20,000 annual ISA allowance.

To cancel, just get in touch with the Support team by emailing support@moneyboxapp.com – we’ll just need to confirm your details with you before actioning the cancellation. Please note that it is currently not possible to re-open accounts which have been cancelled.

You can also withdraw from your Cash ISA at any time by clicking ‘View account’, then ‘Withdraw’.

A 25% government penalty applies if you withdraw money from a Lifetime ISA for any reason other than buying your first home (up to £450,000) or for retirement, and you may get back less than you paid into your Lifetime ISA.
