Eligibility

1. This promotion (the “Offer”) is available to Digital Moneybox Limited (“Moneybox”) customers who have a Moneybox Cash ISA (or “Cash ISA”) account and have been contacted directly by Moneybox by email or through in-app notifications informing them of this promotion (an “Existing Customer”) to invite friends and family who do not have any Moneybox accounts (each, a “New Customer”) to sign up to a Moneybox Cash ISA through a referral link.

2. The Offer is available from the date that you receive the email or notification to 23:59 GMT on 13 December 2023 (the “Offer Window”).

3. To be eligible to receive the Reward (as defined below), an Existing Customer must satisfy all of the following requirements:

a. have a Moneybox Cash ISA account;

b. have sufficient annual ISA allowance remaining on their Cash ISA to receive the Reward or, if they have reached the maximum annual ISA allowance, have a linked personal bank account to receive the Reward;

c. not be an employee, officer or director of Moneybox or any member of its group, or any member of such a person’s immediate family or household.

4. To be eligible to receive the Reward (as defined below), a New Customer must satisfy all of the following requirements:

a. be a new Moneybox customer (i.e. no current or past accounts with Moneybox);

b. not have an existing Cash ISA with Moneybox. The Reward is open for New Customers wanting to transfer an existing cash ISA to Moneybox provided the transfer meets the minimum deposit requirements set out below;

c. open a Moneybox Cash ISA account during the Offer Window using the referral link and not cancel the Cash ISA within the cancellation period;

d. deposits or transfers at least £500 in the Cash ISA during the Offer Window and maintains a balance of at least £500 for 30 days from the date of deposit;

e. have sufficient annual ISA allowance remaining on their Cash ISA to receive the Reward or, if they have reached the maximum annual ISA allowance, have a linked personal bank account to receive the Reward;

f. meet the eligibility requirements to open a Moneybox Cash ISA as set out in the Moneybox Terms and Conditions; and

g. not be an employee, officer or director of Moneybox or any member of its group, or any member of such a person’s immediate family or household.

 

The Reward 

5. The Existing Customer and the New Customer will be eligible to each receive £40 into their Cash ISA (the “Reward”) if they both meet the eligibility criteria set out above.

6. For the avoidance of doubt, for each referral only one Existing Customer and one New Customer will be eligible to receive the applicable Reward.

7. The Reward to both Existing Customers and New Customers will be paid no later than 60 days from the end of the Offer Window.

8. The Reward will be paid into the Cash ISA of the Existing Customer and the New Customer unless the Existing Customer and/or New Customer have reached the maximum annual ISA allowance in which case the Reward will be paid to the customer’s linked personal bank account. If the Existing Customer and/or New Customer has reached the maximum annual ISA allowance and do not have a linked personal bank account, they will not be eligible to receive the Reward.

 

Prohibitions and limitations 

9. The Reward will only be paid once per New Customer. If Moneybox receives multiple referrals for the same New Customer, it will only accept the first referral link and any further referral will not be valid.

10. Existing Customers will only receive the Reward for referring a maximum of 3 friends and family members. If an Existing Customer refers more than 3 eligible friends and family members, they will only receive a maximum of £120 Reward in total.

11. It is not permitted to share your referral link publicly via social media platforms or forums. It is only intended for sharing with friends and family. If we suspect that you are sharing your referral link not in compliance with these Offer Terms, we have the right to not pay your Reward and we’ll contact you to let you know that we’ve done this. 

 

Data Protection

12. Each New Customer who submits an application with Moneybox in compliance with these terms and conditions acknowledges that Moneybox may share their name and information with the Existing Customer regarding their application for the purposes of them being able to receive the Reward for this Offer.

13. Personal data supplied will be handled in line with our Privacy Notice.

 

General

14. These terms (the “Offer Terms”) supplement the Moneybox Terms and Conditions (including the Moneybox Promotional Terms). To the extent there is a discrepancy between these Offer Terms and the Moneybox Terms and Conditions (including the Moneybox Promotional Terms), these Offer Terms shall prevail.

15. By participating in the Offer, you are deemed to have accepted these Offer Terms, the Promotional Terms and the Moneybox Terms and Conditions.

16. We reserve the right to withdraw this Offer at any time.
