Job Brief
Due to the continued growth of the business, the Finance team is looking to add an Accounts Assistant to support its fast-expanding financial operations. The aim of the role is to help the business build a best-in-class finance function that is able to scale as the business moves into its next exciting phase of growth. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a new role at Moneybox and help to further grow the Finance team.
What you’ll do
- Working directly with the rest of the Financial Reporting & Operations team, you will be responsible for the following areas:
- Accounts payable (processing invoices / coding within Netsuite / supplier payments)
- Employee payments (processing monthly payroll / reviewing employee expenses)
- Supplier management (onboarding suppliers / paying invoices when due)
- Cash management (bank reconciliations / payment processing)
- Reporting (monthly management accounts / quarterly reporting / year end audit assistance)
Who you are
- A driven, ambitious individual, looking to take on a new role in finance
- A very detail orientated person, who is able to deliver tasks with a high level of accuracy
- A fast learner, who is able to adapt to changing systems and processes
- An individual who is comfortable communicating with the rest of the team and other areas of the business
Experience and skills
- Experience working in a finance team, ideally in a similar industry/with a company in a similar phase of growth
- Experience working with an accounting system, ideally Netsuite although this is not required
- Experience processing payroll and working with a payroll system is desirable
- A degree in a relevant subject or progression to another accountancy qualification (eg ACCA, CIMA, AAT) is desirable
- Highly numerate with strong excel skills
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and towards tight deadlines

Working Policy:
We have a hybrid policy that includes 2 days from our London office and 3 from home. If the role states it is either hybrid or remote candidates must be based within the UK.
